here is the article, explaining the installation (GERMAN):

This plugin is fantastic. It’s a shame it’s almost impossible to contact the author.

    fransedano please say hi!

  3. fransedano Says:

Hi 馃槈 Why is it difficult to contact me?

    Thanks,
    Francisco.

  4. Carlton Says:

I emailed and tweeted you asking if you have a license for UIPCX, but didn’t get a reply. I would like to use it in a XP10 addon that I’m building. Can I license it like FSUIPC?

  5. Carlton Says:

Or if you prefer a voucher for XP.org or FSPilotShop so you can buy some extra flight sim kit!

  6. Carlton Says:

    Or a donation to charity?

Either way Francisco please let me know! I really would rather not switch to XP10 UDP =(

  7. Luis Slamovits Says:

Hola Francisco!

Alguna idea??

  9. IOCP Genious Says:

Is there a possibility to unsubscribe IOCP Variables that have been subscribed by “Arn.Inicio:”?
Would be really helpful to reduce traffic when it’s no longer required!

  10. fransedano Says:

    Hi,
It isn’t currently but it could be a great addition – Will do that ASAP, thanks for the idea!

  11. Dave Says:

    Fran,
It’s been a long time since I last worked with your uipcx plug-in. I wanted to get the v0.5 for Windows, but it says I must be logged in to download. I do not see a place I can login or register.
Please point me in the right direction.

    Thank You,
    Dave

  12. fransedano Says:

Hi, please download v1.0 not v.05, you will be able to download that one!

    Thanks,

  13. Hans Jansen Says:

    Hi Francisco,

I am still using your plugin for my cockpit setup. I recently extended my uipcxdatos.txt file with the aircraft-specific datarefs for the plane I am setting up (QPAC A320 V2, but I think that is not relevant for my problem).

When my program asks for these new variables, the plugin reports “Dataref no found in XPlane”. I think this is caused by the fact that the plane’s plugin is loaded after UIpcx, and that only datarefs are accessible which have already been defined at the moment UIpcx is loaded/activated.

Would it be possible for your plugin (V1.1 or later…) to find the datarefs at the moment they are requested?

    Regards,

    Hans

  14. fransedano Says:

    Hi,

I’m already doing that (I look for the data ref when it’s requested not on startup). Can I get your log file, and uipcxdatos.txt?

    Thanks

  15. Hans Jansen Says:

    Hi Francisco,

Sorry to have bothered you… It was completely my own fault (I had attempted to address a float-array’s first value as a single float. It works perfectly after all!

    Regards,

    Hans.

  16. Asif Says:

    Dear Francisco,

I think I am not understanding how to get X-plane configured for your great plugin to talk to SIOC — could you help, please?

I am having problems connecting from SIOC to Xplane. I downloaded the UIPCX software and installed as plugin — as well as the recommended .txt file into the plugin folder.

My MCP hardware (in device ID 252 ) is seen by SIOC and I can use the SIOC monitor to make lights work and numbers appear as well as turn hardware knobs and see activity in SIOC monitor.

Problem is that I think my .ini file is wrong and it isn’t talking to xplane.

I am attaching the zipped folder of the x737 files — but I think the manual does not tell me where to put the second .txt file — and aybe that is why I am not reciving any commands from the x737?

thank you very very much in advance for any advice or guidance.

    cheers,

    asif

    Hi Francisco,
I am having trouble sending commands. Here is an example i used based on your example.

This is available in the buttons advanced tab so i know it works that way but i need to assign it thru sioc. Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Sapresti dirmi dove sbaglio ?

  20. Phil C Says:

    Hi Francisco,
I am new to IOCP and understand you may have written a manual of some sort for using your plug in. Is this the case and where can I download it please?
    Thanks in advance.

  21. Sergey Says:

Is it possible to update uipcx plugin to search for uipcxdatos.txt file in uipcx directory so it can be placed in aircraft plugins directory? I want to have different plugin settings on every aircraft.

  22. Mark Says:

    Any manuals?
Downloaded the version 1.0, it not have any manual file.
    Where I can find it?
